Folding patio doors are unmistakable in the sense they are comprised of several glass panels, usually up to seven, that move along a track so they can neatly fold or stack on top of one another when fully opened. “Easily the most customizable type of patio door, folding patio doors can be configured to open from the center or they can be folded completely to the left or the right side. The latter option can be paired with an access panel for the convenience of everyday use,” said Christopher. “Given its exceptionally wide opening, this type of patio door is most appropriately incorporated into large living spaces that have enough wall space to fit the door comfortably and proportionately.
