You know the rest – Bring May Flowers. My love for spring has increased as I age – the change of seasons in Wisconsin brings so much anticipation and excitement, plus summer is just around the corner!

So, how did your house hold up this winter? Have you done the 360-degree walk around the exterior and go through all the rooms on the interior to examine your windows and doors? We recently completed our spring cleaning with our windows and doors. As low maintenance as new products are, the glass still needs to be cleaned. (I don’t clean windows, as my wife enjoys it, believe it or not!)

In looking at your windows and doors, if you notice rotting wood or they just don’t operate like they did previously, it may be a sign there is something wrong with them. Our homes do move, which is why some doors and windows will close tightly during certain times of the year and may not do so at other times.

We have Infinity from Marvin fiberglass windows and doors in our home, and they just are amazing! They don’t seem to age, and as they are made from fiberglass, they are eight times stronger than vinyl! That alone should be all you need to know.

Strength and durability in our climate equate to quality and longevity. The same is true with patio, entry, and storm doors. Callen offers the best in products and installation, plus they will be there after the install with help if you have questions.

I’ve said dozens of times over the last few decades of working with Callen on my homes and having Callen staff as guests on my Saturday morning WISN Remodeling Show that their installers are the best. They are experienced professionals who recognize problems and know how to fix them.

Take some time now to honestly assess your home. If you need help, Callen is just a phone call away. Plus, take advantage of Callen’s door sale on through the end of April, where you can save on entry, storm, and interior doors. Call Callen at 414-529-5509 or visit its Muskego Design Center to learn more.

Enjoy those April showers and the May flowers that follow. Then enjoy the views through your new Infinity from Marvin windows and doors!
