“No other material can look like wood.” Callen Busts the Myth!

Client after Client have brought to our attention the various myths that are believed to be true about windows, specifically the material of which windows are made. Whether they are speaking about wood, vinyl, or fiberglass, we’ve heard it all. However, it is time for Callen to bust the myth!

One by one, we will refute the popular misconceptions that are unsettled about windows. There is ultimately one trustworthy brand to be considered when choosing the right windows for your home.

It’s time to go back to the 1700s when it all started, with wood windows.

Offering the classic beauty that many other windows don’t provide, wood windows come with never-ending maintenance. It is often said “No other material can look like wood.” That was the common thought before the Everwood interior finish by Infinity from Marvin became available. Wood window experts designed Infinity and brought us Everwood, which has the natural woodgrain looks without the maintenance. Its finish offers natural looks and textures, plus Infinity’s Everwood also has the traditional sash and grille profiles found on wood products.

Infinity’s Everwood interior finish can be stained or painted to match any existing woodwork, whereas wood presents a problem with staining and painting due to moisture retention. Factors such as condensation, mold and mildew, cracks, and discoloration are all out of control due to the elements to which a window is exposed. The finish on a true wood window makes for a lot of servicing.

Busted! – Everwood captures the beautiful details and profiles of wood – saving you time and money.
