Tis the Season!

It’s the end of another year, with the New Year starting in a week.

I am not going to talk too much about remodeling in this month’s blog, but I do have a question – Why do we remodel our homes? Because we “want” to and in many cases we “have” to. Replace an old window or door or fulfill a desire to enjoy the benefits of a new kitchen or bath.

But let’s consider the question on a deeper level – why do we remodel our homes? Very often it’s because we want to enjoy these times of year more fully. The holidays bring families and friends together. I, personally, enjoy a compliment on my home; whether it’s the interior, decorations or even the landscape outside.

We all want nice things, and it’s not being selfish or greedy that brings about this “want.” It’s part of allowing us to better appreciate life. Enjoy what a new kitchen or bathroom, or an entry or patio door will bring, whether it be enhance curb appeal, reduced energy bills, or the ability to live more comfortably within your space.

At the end of the day, these are a multitude of reasons to remodel. As we reflect on 2023 and look forward to a new year, let those reasons come to the forefront.
