As promised, this is my first blog entry for our new entry way remodeling project with Callen. I am excited to announce that we are transforming our house with this renovation.
Along the way, I will provide the classic “before and after” photos (I’m really looking forward to those “after” pictures!). I will also be very transparent and open about the process of this remodeling project; from how we came up with very innovative ideas to remodel our loft, stairs, bannisters, basement wall and even lighting, to the initial design, consult and now the beginning of this much anticipated remodel of our home’s entry way.
While some people don’t, we use our front door a lot. The front door was previously installed by Callen along with a striking, two-piece large window directly above the door. There are also sidelights to let as much natural light into the north side of our house.
We joke that everything looks great as you walk to the front door – we love our new Infinity from Marvin Fiberglass Replacement Windows, all installed by Callen.
But one trouble spot for my wife and I has always been the stairs. The hand rail, carpet, and colors presented a dated look when you opened the front door. Callen Sales Design Consultants came up with a terrific concept, which is all I can say for now, as the project start date is approaching.

This is a very unique project and will certainly be putting the “WOW” into our home. Thanks Callen, we can’t wait.
