Well, sort of.The “in between“ period of Halloween and Thanksgiving is here.As I write this blog, my wife is changing the decor in our house. Everybody seems to jump the gun on Christmas decorations, but this year I’m OK with it. Between COVID-19 and the election, we all deserve to relax in our homes!The holidays are now upon us, so let’s enjoy them. Yes, it might be a little different this year with smaller gatherings, virtual gatherings, or whatever your family decides. The bottoms line is we will spend more time in our homes, not only due to COVID, but the cold weather is upon us.Don’t get me wrong – I’m not a fan of ice and 20 below zero, but I love the change of seasons and the holidays. As you decorate your house, take a look around. Maybe it’s a small project, or maybe it’s meeting with a Callen Sales Design Consultant to plan a larger home project. Now could be the time to remodel your lower level or convert the attic to a more usable space. Perhaps changing countertops with a new sink and faucet to give your kitchen some pop is all you need.
