I complain about this every year – it drives my wife nuts – but here we go, because I must. I don’t like New Year’s resolutions.
We feel good at the time we make the statement, as it’s a new year. Like a blank slate, a fresh start if you will. The problem is most people do not maintain the resolution moving forward.
But here is one commitment you can keep. Unlike losing weight or quitting smoking, completing a home remodeling project is here to stay! It enhances your quality of life, adding value to your home. It may fix a plaguing issue that has been problematic for your home and needs to be corrected. It can also be a renovation to make your home more of what you want it to be.
Callen has done many projects on my own home. Windows we knew were clearly rotted at the time we bought the house needed replacing. But we loved the house and windows can be replaced. The same goes for a patio or front entry door. They all help your home’s efficiency, but also enhance the beauty, adding value as well.
Callen also remodeled our entire entryway, which included the entry door and a transom window above and the staircase, plus completed a large bathroom project, giving us joy every time we enter those area’s of our house.
Replacing windows or doors or remodeling your kitchen or bath may be your New Year’s resolution for 2023 or next year.
