As I write this blog, the coronavirus has seemingly put life on hold. These are strange times we are living in, indeed.

The reality is that life moves on. During my lifetime, I do not recall a time where everything has seemingly come to a stop – sports, travel, schools, and more. Depending on your arrangement with your employer, you might be working from your home and spending more time there.

Our homes are our safe haven. So for just a minute, let’s move away from the coronavirus and talk about your safe haven. When times are tough, when you have a bad day at work or school, you always return home. It’s your castle and that will never change. Our home remains our biggest investment and most of us understand the need to keep up and maintain it, from the very basic levels to home improvement and remodeling projects.

Remember that renovating your home adds value to your biggest investment plus you get to enjoy the improvements. Try to keep things in perspective, and when this pandemic clears, your home will still be there…your safe haven.
