Fill in the blank. To me, it’s cold winter weather. I’m writing this blog the week before Thanksgiving and I am seeing holiday decorations and soon it will start looking a lot like Christmas.
For now, I have noticed cold for the last week and a half. Yes, this comes after a very nice summer and warm fall. Though it’s technically not winter yet, is your house ready for prolonged cold temperatures? How about your windows? Your doors?
Think back to last winter – did you have to put one of those door socks or blanket by your front door to keep the draft out? Did your windows have frost on the inside? This is not a comfy feeling at all, as it’s like living in an igloo.
Now that I have your attention, and going back to the title for this blog, fill in the blank. Do you still have work to do before the really cold weather sets in? If you need help deciding if you need new windows or doors, call Callen. Get an estimate and prioritize where you need to start. Callen is excellent at helping you through the process.
After replacing every window in our house, it’s wrapped up tighter than a drum! That is what you want. Overall, your home functions as a system, but if you feel a draft, or see noticeable problems, you have issues that need to be corrected.
