It’s All in the Details

I want to start this “All in the Details” blog by highlighting my history with Callen.

Brothers Tom and Phil Callen started the company in 1986 and I started working with Callen on my WISN-AM 1130 radio show and used them for smaller projects at first – Gutter Topper, then some windows, but nothing too big.

Then we moved to our house in Cedarburg that needed some TLC. We stepped up the game with Callen and did a large bathroom remodel. That included extensive build out work, a gable, a new window, and heated floors. The new bathroom and walk-in closet transformed the entire upstairs. Eventually, we moved on to a whole new staircase and loft project. In between, Callen did our roof, replaced all of our windows with Marvin Infinity fiberglass replacement windows, installed a new patio door, plus a new front door system, which included a massive window above it.

Here’s where the details come in, and where Callen differentiates itself from other companies. It’s the follow up work –  if anything needs attention, even the smallest thing, they’ve got your back. We recently needed adjustments with the front door, plus some of our cedar siding rotted. Callen took care of everything.

The company now has a painting division for interior rooms and are growing under the new ownership with Mike and Chris Wood. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate what the Callen crew  has done for my family and my house. I have been and always will be a loyal Callen client.
